Let’s Go Back to School!

Last week students in my area went back to school after their two month summer holiday. I think back to school time is a great time for new beginnings, so here is my new beginning!
I worked for many years as a school teacher, and I loved back to school time, the anticipation of a fresh new year with new classes and new students. But I felt so burned out as a teacher. And then I had children.
So I began working online as an ESL teacher. I loved this, I enjoyed having more time at home with my kids and working one-on-one with students.
When my children were old enough for school I decided to put my knowledge and experience into practice by homeschooling them. So my kids went back to school like the other students in our neighborhood–but they went back to homeschool for grade 1.
But through all this, I still wanted more. I wanted the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience with a wider audience. To help more than just my kids and my ESL students.
And that’s why I started this blog. I want to share my knowledge, experience, and expertise with others. Expect to see content related to language learning, homeschooling, and learning to read on this blog. I hope that I can offer encouragement and useful information to help you on your journey too.
Here are some things you can expect
- Curriculum reviews
- Homeschool encouragement
- Tips on learning new languages
Will you join me on this journey?
